Twilight by Stephenie Meyer

Dear Readers,
I totally love, amour, adore, worship and became besotted with Twilight. Not only the book but also with Edward Cullen and Robert Pattinson (the actor who plays Edward). This book is mainly focusing on Edward (the vampire) and Bella ( a human). She falls in love with Edward and finds out that he's a vampire. However, she doesn't run away. She knows the danger of being committed to a vampire but she loves him truly. Now Edward, isn't the vampire that you think he is. He lives on animal blood because he doesn't want to be a monster ( as he says). His family also follows this rule. Bella is curious about Edward and asks him questions. Edward is also in love with Bella. *sigh*

When they are playing baseball( Edward, Bella and the rest of his family), another group of vampires come without an invitation. This group isn't like Edward and the rest of his family. They feed on human blood and the leader, James is attracted to Bella's scent( like Edward but Edward tries to control his will to turn Bella into a vampire). The group tries to find Bella when Edward, Alice and Emmett (his siblings) take her away so she's safe. There's a plan to save her. She goes to Phoenix (her hometown) and hides there with Alice and Jasper. SHe gets a call from James telling her not to tell her vampire friends anything unless she wants her mother killed.

She's lured into a trap.  Bella gets bitten by James. I can't tell you more because I'd be killing the suspense ( unless you've already read it). Anyway, the way Stephenie Meyer describes Edward Cullen, is like she's describing Robert Pattinson. I think her description makes Edward interesting, dark, charming, mysterious and my prince charming.

                                                                                    Sincerely,
                                                                                                     Tenzing Choden Namgyal

Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of Nimh.

Dear Readers,
School has started and I had already finished a book call Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of Nimh. This book is about Mrs. Frisby whose husband is dead and the "Moving Day" is arriving. Timonthy who has always been a week child falls sick when Moving Day is slowly arriving. Mrs. Frisby is very worried and on her way back from Mr. Ages [the mouse doctor], a crow is stuck in the bushes. The cat Dragon, comes targets the crow but Mrs. Frisby saves him.

He later tells her that if she needs any help for anything she can call him. Mrs. Frisby who is badly in need of help calls out for the crow and he takes her to the wise one[the owl]. The owl doesn't say any thing to her at first but then he asks for her for her name. She tells him that she is Mrs. Frisby and he gets shocked and tells her to go to the bush. Where the rats are.

She finds out that her husband was a part of the rat community and he was a very capable general. When she is at the bush, she finds out about her husband, the plan of Nimh and how to save Timonthy. To find out more, please read the book.

Sincerely,

The Princess Diaries[PART 1]

Dear readers,
I just finished reading a book called the Princess Diaries for the 2nd time. Its really interesting. The story is about an unpopular girl who lives with her mom in a tiny apartment in Manhattan, who has a crush on the most popular guy in her school and this story is about a girl who depends on her diary and her best friend. The diary is presented to her by her mom.

She is depressed, angry and frustrated just like any other teenager. Her mom and her dad are divorced, her dad has some kind of cancer, her mom is dating her algebra teacher and guess what..... she just found out that she is the Princess of Genovia. She isn't the same Mia Thermopolis any more, she's Amelia Mignonette Grimaldi Thermopolis Renaldo. In short PRINCESS OF GENOVIA!!!!!

You can see what happens in the book by reading it. So what are you waiting for? READ THE BOOK!!!

                                                                     Sincerely,
                                                                                      Tenzing C. Namgyal.

Ps. Sorry if I'm forcing you to read the books which I'm writing about.

The Vile Files

Dear Readers,
If you are a person who is very clean and gets disgusted with even a single rotten smell then you should probably skip this post. I'm recently reading a book called The Vile Files [which mostly talks about gross stuff and gross facts] and it's by Tracy Turner.

This book is not like a story book. It has many quizzes, gross facts and it's kind of interesting [ in a weird kind of way]. It's kid of educational too! I mean, I never knew that flies barf and eat it all again[ it's good for digestion] or the longest leech in the world is 45 cm long!

So if you think that you can handle this book without and ARGGG! or a YUCK! then go on. Read this book. I DARE  you to!

My ratings ; 4/5
                                                                                                      Yours Sincerely,
                                                                                                                        Tenzing C. Namgyal

Super Fudge.

Dear Readers,
I'm sorry that I haven't been blogging like I'm supposed to. But to make that up to you,  I've got 6 new book reports that I'll be posting very soon. Well then what are we waiting for? Let's begin!

Well I just finished reading a book recently called Super Fudge. The book is by Judy Blume. I tried reading it in 2008 at the school but I didn't like it. So, then I abandoned it. When I came to my village, my cousin sister had the book[Super Fudge]. She said it was a nice book so I started reading it. I really liked it the second time so I'm planning to look for more books by Judy Blume.

Well getting on to the topic, this story is about Peter Hatcher who is a 6th grader. He lives in a city and he just found out that his parents are going to have a baby. He hates this idea because he has another sibling called Fudge who is very irritating indeed and Peter gets angry and tries to run away.

After the baby girl is born, he gets another shock. They're moving!!! How could Peter go in the middle of no where and have no friends when he's in grade 6?! There is only one way to find out. Read the book of course!!

My rating- 4/5.

                                                                                                 Sincerely,
                                                                                                              Tenzing C. Namgyal.

Daughter of the Mountains.

Dear readers,
I just finished a book called Daughter of the Mountains which is a part of my Winter homework. The book is written by Louise Rankin and has earned a New berry medal. I liked this book because it wasn't too hard or too easy for me. Currently my reading level is at "T" and Daughter of the Mountain's reading level is "V". So i guess my reading level is growing!

I think one more reason that I liked this book is that it takes place in the North East side of India and in the Tibetan mountains. I could also understand the language that was used. But one thing keeps on popping up in my mind. That thing is, "is this story real?" because a small girl called Momo comes all the way from the Tibetan mountains to Calcatta in search of her dog. Is that possible?

There are several thing which  I like about this book and many which I don't like too. One of the things I don't like is that the author keeps on repeating the same paragraph over and over again. Another thing that I don't like is that there are too many details in the book. The last thing I don't like is that all the bad things that happen to Momo has to happen in Sikkim only!!!

My ratings : 3/5

§J You could. J§

You could call me a simpleton,

Cause that's what I really am.

I was easily fooled by your words,

And tricked by your actions.

You could make me say sorry,

Even if it wasn't my fault

I did it for you anyway

Cause I couldn't see through this facade.

You could make me agree to whatever you say.

I did it cause I thought that your "sorry" and your "I love you" was real

I bore everything.

Cause I had compassion for you.

You could make me do anything for you

Except one small little thing.

You couldn't make me fall for you again.

Cause I've had enough of you... and all I want to say now is that I hate you.

Tenchung.
